Thomas Shelby

Character study of Thomas Shelby, from Peaky Blinders.

As one of my first likeness studies, this was a challenge finding all the right forms and details to depict this iconic character. Material quality and lighting were a big part of the piece: making sure the contours and forms of his face were properly highlighted, as well as making sure all the materials were easily recognisable as cloth, skin or hair.

There's definitely more to push but I'm pleased with the knowledge that came from creating this piece and happy with the result for now.
